Braided Horsehair Order Form & Instructions - Print this page and mail with hair.

Remember - you need tail hair for braiding. Mane hair is for tassels.
For an 8-strand bracelet, you need a lock about as big around as a pencil and at least 18" long. For 25-strand bracelets, 2 locks the size of a pencil and at least 20" long. For necklaces, one lock about 23" long. For the Love Knot, Santa Fe and earrings, the hair can be shorter - as short as 9" long for most items.
 
Select a lock of hair that is half-way down the dock of the tail, that goes all the way to the end of the brush of the tail. Clip it off with scissors as close to the dock as possible. Immediately wrap a rubber band around the cut end of the lock, and then place it in a plastic bag.
 
You will receive back all unused hair. Your order will be shipped by Priority Mail. Thanks for the order!
